Welcome!

Wednesday Night Track Workouts

There are two workout groups to choose from! These are every Wednesday – regardless of weather – at the Falmouth High School track.

The first is a group appropriate for people who are beginners, have a fear of track workouts, are recovering from injury and run/walkers.  This group should warm up and be ready for 5:30 pm.  The workout overlaps with the 6 pm group and is a 40-minute group.

The 6 pm group is a one hour group and those participants should be ready to go at 6:00. (more…)

Marathon Sports coming to Mashpee…

Marathon Sports today announced it will open its 8th retail location in the Mashpee Commons, with plans to open in late spring or early summer of this year.

With locations in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Mansfield, Melrose, Norwell, and Wellesley, Marathon Sports sees Cape Cod as the next logical step in expanding its visibility in the Greater Boston running community.

Owner Colin Peddie says the new location will allow Marathon Sports to play host to numerous events in and around Cape Cod. “Road races, running form clinics, couch-to-5k programs, and even advanced training and injury prevention programming are the staples of the Marathon Sports educational experience, and we look to bring all of these to the Cape as soon as we can,” says Peddie.

An opening date in late spring or early summer is planned, with a grand opening event to follow. The store will be open 7 days a week, and customers are encouraged to visit the Marathon Sports website at www.marathonsports.com for further details.
