Falmouth Track Club Winter Fun Runs 2010

Falmouth Track Club Winter Fun Runs. Sundays at 8:30 am, except where noted. Runners generally run in groups of varying distances and paces. No one will get "left behind." All runners and families welcome.

Runs are followed by a potluck breakfast. It is helpful if you bring a dish to share. Check with the hosts/hostesses if in doubt about what to bring.

A reminder email with addresses and directions will go out a few days prior to each run, so be sure to give us a current email address when you renew your membership for 2010.

Friday January 1

Annual Hangover Classic. Home of Carolyn and Courtney Bird. 11:00 am. Official course is a little over 7 miles, but you can run any distance. Winner selected at random. It is helpful if you bring a dish to share. Park on the west side of Sippewisset Road. Abundant raffle prizes.

Sunday April 4

Bourne Bridge to Woods Hole 20 Miler presented by the Falmouth Track Club. Organized training run. The 20 mile course runs from the Peebles School in Bourne to the starting line of the Falmouth Road Race in Woods Hole; runners generally start at 8:00 am, there is a map of the course [PDF], and there are water stops along the way. You may also run any portion of the course. A party follows at the home of Carolyn and Courtney Bird.
