Monthly Board of Directors Meeting
October 22, 2007

The Monthly Meeting of the Falmouth Track Club was held at the Quarterdeck on October 22, 2007. The meeting was called to order at 6:50 PM by President Jack Carroll. Present were Russ and Joan Pelletier, Wendy Carroll, Courtney Bird, Bob Richards and Glen Rogers.

President's Report

Secretary's Report

Wendy Carroll- September 2007 Meeting minutes approved.

REPORTS FROM OFFICERS

Treasurer's Report. - Joan Pelletier reported we are still waiting for funds from Main Street Mile sponsors. It looks like we are down with a loss of $2800. The MSM will donate $2000. in scholarships, that makes us $800. down, but that doesn't include the funds we are waiting for from sponsors. We have over $90,000. in the check book. In December and January we'll have a lot of money going out. The marathon is doing pretty well dollar wise.

Vice President's Report - Bob Richards - No report.

Seagull Six - Mike Norton - No report.

Membership - Doris Beatty - No report.

Newsletter - Pete Landry - No report.

Main Street Mile - Dana Delorme - No Report.

Friday Night Five - Ken Gartner - No Report.

Special Events - Carolyn Bird - No Report.

Cape Cod Marathon - Courtney Bird said there are 1301 registered for the marathon and 192 for the relay. The time is counting down, the long term weather forecast looks good. (a more detailed report will be made at CCM Meeting after this meeting).

Coaching - Bob Richards reported for Jim Preisig the workouts have been going well. The turn out has been on the lighter side with about 5 to 8 people.

Old Business - None.

New Business - Jack Carroll mentioned that Ken Gartner asked him to bring up the dollar beers that are sold at the Falmouth Inn after the CCM. Jack said that Ken asked if we could serve coffee and soda at the CCM party. It was agreed that the dollar beers were fine and that it was a good idea to serve coffee and soda at the CCM party. Joan Pelletier asked Jack about the Youth program's financial breakdown.
