Husband/Wife Team Take Coffee O

For the second time this year, another husband and wife team took top
honors at the Coffee O Five. Steve Faluotico led from the start and raced
home with a time of 29:19, which was good enough for first place by 30
seconds. It was also good enough to set his Coffee O personal best by a
scant second. Not to be outdone, Stace Beaulieu raced home with a 30 second
victory and a personal best time as well, Ms. Beaulieu¹s new Coffee O
personal best rests at 35:19.
Young Rich Gori cracked 30 minute en route to a second place finish and
oldŠ(older)Tor Clark nabbed third with a very fine effort of just over 31
minutes. Thirty-ones were wild for Ben Garfield as he trotted home in
31:31, one of his best times in the event. Fifty-nine year old Steve Waxman
notched a personal best time of 38:17.
Wendy Stafford edged Stacy DeRuiter to place second by a minute or so
for the women. The GPS Twins, Patti O¹Brien and Dana DeLorme, finished
together in fourth in just about 40 minute even.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five-mile run and 2.4 mile walk that is
held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. All are
welcome to participate.
