Husband Wife Team Take Coffee O Titles This Week

Thirty-six runners and a handful of walkers took part in the Coffee O
Five this week. The husband and wife team of Ulandt Kim and Pauline Lim
took first in the men's and women¹s races. Mr. Kim broke thirty minutes and
out-legged the field by over four minutes. The next three runners finished in a lame lollywagging tie. Big Tim Jones, running for the green racing team of Wood Lumber, chugged home in fifth with a season's best time of just
over 35 minutes. Sixty-seven year old Mike Mullo nabbed sixth with a fine
effort of 36 minutes and change.
Pauline Lim outdistanced Dana DeLorme by a couple of minute to win the
women¹s race. It was Ms. DeLorme's first Coffee O Five of the year and also
her highest finish. Kris Tholke edged Kathleene Savage and Stace Beaulieu
for third.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five-mile run and 2.4 mile walk that is
held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There is
no entry fee for these self-timed events and all runners and walkers are
welcome to participate.
