Just 23 Coffee O Fivers

It was a small field of just 23 runners this week at the Coffee O
Five. Steve Ruane romped home in 29:42 to garner the win while his more
famous roommate stayed home. Jeff List followed three minutes later to nab
second. David Stuebe took third. Mick Dawson started late and his time of
35:42 bumped Jack Carroll out of fourth place.
Women¹s winner, Wendy Stafford cracked 36 minutes for the second week
in a row. Rachel Horwitz took second, just 20 seconds ahead of Lauren
Gilbert. Kris Tholke and Madeleine Marken rounded out the top five.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five-mile run and 2.4 mile walk that is
held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There
are no entry fees for these self-timed events and all runners and walkers
are welcome to participate.
