Fourteen Coffee O Fivers Brave Cold Bleak Night

It was a cold and bleak night for a run, but the good news was that it
was light for almost the first half of the run. Fourteen runners finished
this week. It was a three-way tie up front, and a two-way tie for fourth.
Jenny Rocca, of West Yarmouth, led the women with a fine effort of 35
minutes and change. Wendy Stafford followed several minutes later. Stave
Beaulieu and Ann Tarrant trotted home together in third. Laurie Fife
rounded out the top five for the women.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run that is held every Friday
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There is no entry fee for
this self-timed event and all are welcome to participate. Reflective
running vests are required.
