Ten Cold and Wet Coffee O Fivers

Ten runners didn¹t have enough sense to stay home out of the rain this
week at the Coffee O Five. It was and old fashioned horserace up front as
the lead changed about 45 times throughout the course of the race between
the top four runners. In the end youth prevailed as young Chris Darrah
sprinted home in a shade over 30 minutes to win his second Coffee O Five in
a row.
In a battle of 23 year-old Woods HolersŠSteve Ruane came out on top
over Ed Sweeney. Dave Farrell took fifth in 36 minutes and change. Lynne
Davies was the lone woman this week and she trotted home alongside Dave
Stuebe to of course take first for the women.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run that is held every Friday
Night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. Reflective running gear is
the only requirement in the winter.
