Cold Night For Coffee O Fivers

It was eleven degrees and there were eleven hard core runners at this
week¹s Coffee O Five. It just wasn¹t a pleasant night for a run. Actually
twelve started but only eleven finished.
John Noland, a Cape Cod Road Racing veteran of over 20 years picked a
tough night to make his Coffee O Five debut. He trotted home in a three-way
tie for first place. Jack Carroll took fourth and Bob Richards edged out Al
Price and Pete Landry by a few steps for fifth. Wendy Stafford was first for
the women and Heather Farrell took secondŠone of her best Coffee O finishes
ever.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run and 2.4 mile walk that is
held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. All are
invited to participate.
