Nine weather Post Blizzard of 2005 Coffee O Five

Nine runners showed up for the post blizzard of 2005 Coffee O Five. It was
cold, the roads were still caked with snow, and it was just not an optimal
night to run. Special post blizzard rules were instigated to alllowing runners
to stop their watches and step off the side of the road to avoid oncoming traffic.

Dana Miskell blitzed the course early with a solo noon-time run in just
a shade over 36 minutes. Some say he was out there in the morning shoveling
a path along the route to optimize the footing. The Wood Lumber man's time
stood up for third in the end. Al Price nabbed fourth his best ever
Coffee-O finish and Pete Landry crossed close on Al's heels. Wendy Stafford
was the lone woman of the post blizzard run, and she slid home in just under 40 minutes.

The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run that is held every Friday
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth snow or no snow. All are
invited to participate.
