Here Comes the Sun

There was a strange sight in the sky this Friday for the Coffee
O Fivers, the sun was actually shining and it wasn't raining. The good
weather brought out 43 runners, the largest field of the year.
Laura Hutchinson dashed home in a few ticks over 32 minute to
record the fastest women's time of 2005. Lynne Clay was second for the
women in 36:30 and Wendy Stafford followed 30 seconds later.
The top three runners all broke 30 minutes. Tim Cronin of
Marstons Mills ran 32 minutes flat and cracked the top five for his
first time. Chris Buccino finished right on his heals in sixth. The
old regulars are slowly returning....Peter Noonan, Mick Dawson, and
John Ramsey all finished their first Coffee O Five of the year.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run that is held every
Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There is no
entry fee for this self-timed event and all are welcome.
