Veterans Day

The warm weather gear came out for the Coffee O Fivers this week.  
Twenty-three runners and at least ten walkers celebrated Vetererans Day 
with a jaunt through the brisk 43 degree night.  For the men it was 
three way tie for first and another two way tie for fourth as Don 
Fredrikson and Chris Tolke crossed the line in unison.
     The women raced it out like men.  Sarah Biber edged Hannah 
Longworth by just 30 seconds to take top honors.  Ms. Biber finished in 
38:20.  Ann Tarrant took third and Kris Tholke matched her son with a 
fourth place finish. Kristine Bunker finished fifth in 43:21, which was 
one of her best Coffee O times.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run and 2.4 mile walk that 
is held every Friday night at Town Hall Square in Falmouth.  All are 
invited to participate in the event which is sponsored by the Falmouth 
Track Club and Coffee Obsession.  Post race hot cocoa will be 
avaialable after next week's race.
