 5 Mile Coffee O Results

     It was the first Coffee O since the clocks were set back and 
twenty-seven reflective vest clad runners and a handful of walkers 
ventured off into the dark. Bob Crowley made a rare Coffee O appearance and almost cracked the top five.  The former Falmouth Track Club president finished in 34 minutes and change.  

Bob Richards started late and finished early, he showed no ill effects after a fine showing in last week's Cape Cod Marathon and he crossed the line in 43 minutes flat. It was a lame three way tie up front for the men.

      Sharon Grace raced home in just under 37 minutes...one of her best 
efforts ever on the coruse and she nabbed first for the women.  Ann 
Tarrant crossed two minutes later  to take second for the women.  
Hannah Longworth took third in 39:40 and then hopped on her bike and 
rode home in the dark.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held at 5:30 from Town 
Hall Square in Falmouth.  There is no entry fee for this self-timed 
event, reflective running vests are required.
