 5 Mile Coffee O Results

The Coffee O Fivers caught a break this week, as the oppressive 
mid week heat wave had abated by Friday afternoon.  Pete Landry had an early morning flight to catch,  but he still managed to squeeze in a quick five mile jaunt, as he pulled his reflector vest out of winter storage and toured the course at 2:00 AM.  Mike Stone led wire to wire with a personal best time of  28:20.  Young Teddy Farley chalked up another top five finish with a time of just over 30 minutes.  John Noland made a rare Coffee O appearance and took fifth in 31 minutes and change.
      Wendy Carroll led the women this week with a time of 38:11.  Stace 
Beaulieu crossed a minute later to take second and Reike Sagolen of New  York was third.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run and 2.4 mile walk that 
is held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth, 
all are invited to participate in this self-timed event.  It is 
sponsored by Coffee Obsession and the Falmouth Track Club.
