Twenty-one runner lined up for the last Coffee O Five of 2006. In a sure sign that winter has arrived...the steaming hot cocoa from Coffee Obsession made its first appearance of the winter, and it was eagerly quaffed post race by the runners. 
  Matt Plant turned in his best time in a long while to nab his first ever Coffee O win. Sara Richards took first for the women as she cracked 50 minutes by a few tics...it was the first Coffee O win for Ms. Richards as well. Three runners from "over the bridge" made their Coffee O debuts. 
Joe and Kris Ginty of Danbury, CT. trotted home together in 54 minutes. Alan Hickey of Mattapoisett was escorted home by P. J. Petrone in 52 minutes and change. 
  The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run that is held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. The event is sponsored by Coffee Obsession and the Falmouth Track Club. The 2007 season will kick off on January 5th.
