The cold weather running gear finally came out for the Coffee O 
Fivers this  week, and 25 warmly clad runners toed the line.  It was a 
milestone run for  David Farrell and Bob Richards.   Mr. Farrell, who 
routinely makes the hour long drive from Barrington, RI to take in the 
event, finished his 100th Coffee O Five this week.  He had a tough go 
of it as he pulled a muscle at two miles and had to hobble on home the 
rest of the way but he did manage to complete his 500th Coffee O Five mile.

     Bob Richards, the North Falmouth cannon maker, chalked up his 200th 
Coffee O Five this week...one thousand miles worth.  Mr. Richards is in 
fourth place over-all on the all time Coffee O Five list...trailing 
just Ken Gartner, Carolyn Bird, and Iron Mike Garry.|

      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run and 2.4 mile walk that 
is held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth.  
Reflective running gear is required in the winter.  The event is 
sponsored by Coffee Obsession of Queen's Byway and of Woods Hole, and 
by the Falmouth Track Club.
