 5 Mile Coffee O Results

      It was a small crowd of just 18 runners this week at the Coffee O 
Five.  There is just one more Friday night run left before the clocks 
get set back and the reflective runner vests need to be brought out of 
winter storage.
      Abigail Noble was the women's winner this week, as she returned 
after a long layoff on the injured reserved list.  Ms. Noble finished 
in 37:20.  Wendy Carroll edged Ann Tarrant for second.
      Brett Anderson and Sean Powers, two Falmouth High harriers, 
finished fifth and sixth with times of 36 minutes and change.  Their 
teammate, Doug Stafford, posted another personal best as the raging 
tail wind on Surf Drive catapulted him home in just 3 tics over 42 
minutes.  Pete Landry
got a late start and barely beat the midnight deadline, as he posted a 
time of 37:38.
    The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday night 
at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth.  The event is sponsored by 
Coffee Obsession and the Falmouth Track Club.
