 5 Mile Coffee O Results

   The dreaded occurrence seems to pop up ever couple of years...the 
Coffee O Five fell on Friday the thirteenth.   Twenty-five runners 
pushed their luck this week.  Bob Dermody made the trek from Briston, 
Rhode Island and crossed the line in a lucky 13th place on the 13th.
    Two old bald headed guys from West Falmouth set the pace up front 
with a time of 28:54...the fastest clocking of the year.  Matt Plant 
and Mike Norton finished in 30:40...just seconds of Mr. Plant's 
personal best.  Patrick Burns nabbed fifth in what will be his last 
Coffee O until next fall.
      Wendy Carroll was the first woman in 40:53.  Ann Tarrant and Stace 
Bealieu trotted in together to tie for second.  Mary Ellen Ross out 
legged Linda Dalton for fourth.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Suare.  All are invited to participate. 
The ten year anniversary of the event is fast approaching.
