 5 Mile Coffee O Results

April 20, 2007       

Twenty-six runners enjoyed a perfect night for a run at the Coffee 
O Five this week.  Mary Ellen Ross nabbed her first Coffee O win, as 
raced home on iron man Bob Richard's heels in 38:09.  Ann Tarrant 
crossed several minutes later to take second for the women.  It was a 
three way tie for third as Nicole Depferd, Danielle Brown, and Joanne 
Laschi all crossed the line together in 43 minutes and change.
      P.J. Petrone and Don Frederikson both posted season best times of 
31:12 and 32:30 respectively to take second and third for the men.  
Matt Plant took fourth in just under 33 minutes.  Daniel Becker cracked 
the top five in his first Coffee O Five in several years.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth.  There is no entry fee 
for this self-timed event.  After going back through the archives it 
was decided that the ten year anniversary of the event will be June 
22nd... a Friday of course.
