     Jack Whitehead completed the Coffee O Five a little early this week 
and for a while it looked like he might walk off with his first win.  A 
potent thunder and lightning storm rolled into Town Hall Square just as 
the race was about to start, so the fate if the race was in limbo.  The 
race directors consulted the weather gurus and considered canceling the 
run, but in the end the storm passed and the race went off after a half 
hour "thunder and lightning delay."
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Suare.  All are invited to participate. 
The ten year anniversary of the event is fast approaching.
