 5 Mile Coffee O Results

Twenty-one runners showed up for the Ground Hog Day Coffee O Five, 
there was a full moon out but no one saw their shadow.  John Noland of 
Kingston made one of his rare Coffee O appearances and out distanced 
Todd Kirkman and the Machine for the win.  P.J. Petrone edged Matt 
Plant for fourth, for Mr. Plant it was his fastest Coffee O in many 
years.
      Wendy Carroll led the women with a time of just over 40 minutes. 
Lucy Young nabbed second, Ann Tarrant and Rachel Horwitz trotted in 
together to tie for third.  Carolyn Bird rounded out the top five.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth, reflective running 
gear is required in the winter.  The event is sponsored by the Falmouth 
Track Club and Coffee Obsession.
