Fifty-five runners toed the line at the Coffee O Five this week and they came from seven different states and two foreign countries. Two old 47 year old guys from West Falmouth led the field. Fifty-four year old, Tor Clark, raced home in just under 32 minutes to take fourth over-all. Bob Richards took a full six minute off his time of last week...it must have been the shoes.
Diane Pasquaretta of Falmouth took the women's race with her first Coffee O Five win...she finished in 37 minutes and change. Lara Polansky of Chicago finished second in 38:18, which was her second personal best time in the last two weeks. Wendy Carroll crossed the line just three seconds later to take third and Susan Beale nabbed fourth.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile race held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth, all are invited to participate.
