It was a hot and humid summer scorcher for the Coffee O Fivers this week. The post race water went quick and the Elm Road water stop was a welcome sight for all. Ted Farrell, a Falmouth High harrier of long ago, raced home in third place with a time of 33:15. Brooke Merriam, of Bristol RI, took the women's race with a time of 36 minutes and change.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday night at Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There is no entry fee and all are invited to participate in this self-timed event.
