Thirty-eight runners toed the line this week at the Coffee O
Five...the largest crowd of the year. It was a lame three way tie up
front for the men. Danielle Granger had an easy win for the women as
she raced home in 35:28 to place fifth over-all with one of the top
women's times of the year. Ann Tarrant and Stace Beaulieu finished
second in 39 minutes and change.
Bernhard Ehrenbrink returned after a two year Coffee O hiatus and
finished well in just over 40 minutes. Carolyn Bird, the Coffee O
ironwoman, had her fastest time of the year despite the heat and
humidity.
The Coffee O Five is weekly five mile run held every Friday night
at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. The ten year anniversary of
the event is fast approaching.
