 5 Mile Coffee O Results

       What a difference a week makes, there was no snow and slush this 
week for the Coffee O Fivers, instead it was shorts and T shirt 
weather.  Twenty-one runners showed for the spring like weather.
      Todd Kirkman held off P.J. Petrone and Mike Norton and his time of 
31:42 stood up for second place.  Matt Plant raced home with his 
fastest Coffee O of the year...his time of 32:12 was good enough for 
fifth. Jim Tietje took seventh with his first Coffee O since last fall, 
and Patrick Burns turned in his fastest time of the year with in just 
over 37 minutes.
      Joanne Corsano, a Coffee O regular, raced home with one of her 
first Coffee O wins.  Ms. Corsano crossed the line in one tic over 47 
minutes.  Joane Pelletier and Ann Picollo crossed the line in a dead 
heat to tie for second.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth.  Next up on the road 
racing schedule is the Seagull Six Road Race that will be held on April 
Fools Day
in Woods Hole at 11:00 AM.
