The cold and the rain didn't scare away the Coffee O Five runners 
this week as 20 runners showed up to brave the elements. They had to 
forage through knee deep puddles in some spots and battle a strong 
north-east head wind for the last two miles.  Dan Webb had to slow down at one point in order to let three ducks swim across Mill Road.
    Matt Plant started late and finished early in route to a first place 
finish in 32:30.  Don Fredrikson was a minute behind to take second 
with P.J. Petrone right on his heels for third.  Stacy DeRuiter 
finished with a fast last mile to take first for the women.  She edged 
out Wendy Carroll by just 11 seconds and Ann Tarrant nabbed third.
      The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday 
night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth.
