Friday Night 5 Mile Results: Oct. 12, 2007

Twenty-eight runners crossed the line this week at the Coffee O Five on a perfect night for a run. Don Fredrikson chalked up his fastest time of the year with a time of just under 32 minutes to take third. Paul Vertefeuille and Patrick Parker, both of Oak Bluffs, took the ferry over for the run and nabbed fourth and seventh respectively. They had time for a quick drink of water before dashing back to Woods Hole to catch the boat back home.
Kathleen Thomas took first for the women with a time of 38 minutes and change. Emily Roland of Woods Hole finished a minute later to take second and Karli Cannata was third.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth, all are invited to participate.
