Just a lucky 13 runners crossed the line this week at the first Coffee O Five of the year and it was a perfect mid winter night for a run. Falmouth Track Club president, Jack Carrol, was the winner with the fastest time of the year. He ran 37:34 for his first ever Coffee O Five win. It was a Greengate neighborhood sweep as Ben Pring nabbed second and twelve-year-old Connor Cobb took third. Ann Tarrant edged Lucy Young for first in the women's race, while Kris Tholke nabbed third.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile run held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. All are invited to participate in this self-timed event, reflective running gear of some sort is required through the winter.
