The cooler weather ushered in fast times at the Coffee O Five this week. Michaeline Nelson raced home with the fastest women's time of the year to take first for the women and fifth over-all. Ms. Nelson will be running cross country for Brown University this fall. Stace Beaulieu was second for the women. Christine Mingione, the 2000 Summer Solstice Mile winner, was third for the women with a personal best time of 37:09.
Chris George was first over-all with a time of 28:32, one of the quickest times of the year. Nick Foley took second in just under 30 minutes, matching his personal best time.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile race held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. It is sponsored by the Falmouth Track Club and post race water is supplied by Coffee Obsession.
