Two in a Row for Irving
Just 14 brave hearty soles lined up for a frigid Coffee O Five this week. It was tough to recognize people at the starting line under their many layers of cold winter running gear. Michael Irving chalked up his second Coffee O Five win in a row as he edged Evan Williams by just eight seconds in a very close race. Paul DeAngelis was looking at a long cold run home until he found his missing car keys.
Wendy Carroll was the first and only woman this week.
The Coffee O Five is held every Friday night at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth, all are invited, reflective running gear is required in the winter. Race directors promise warmer weather this week.
