It was a devilishly pleasant spring evening for Coffee-O race #666. The warm spring weather brought out the largest and fastest field of the year at the Coffee O Five this week. Steve Faluotico set the pace with a time of 29:12, the fastest time clocked this year on the course. Jen Wolter of Duxbury was running the race for her first time and raced home in 34:47, the top women's time of the year.
There were a number of personal best times this week and also a number of runners making their Coffee O Five debuts.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile race held every Friday night at 5:30 PM from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. All are invited to participate in this self-timed event. Reflective running gear is no longer necessary until the fall.
