Fourteen runner lined up on New Year's Eve for Last Run . . . the last Coffee O Fiver of the year. The forty degree temperature melted all the ice from the roads and the runners had a great night for a run.
Alexis Karnauskes was the first woman to cross the line as she won her first Coffee O Five with a time of 48 minutes and change. The Ouimets took second and third for the men. Tom Frazier chalked up another top five finish as he crossed the line in fourth place.
The Coffee O Five is a weekly five mile race held every Friday night at 5:30 PM from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. All are welcome, reflective running gear is required in the winter.
