Bill O'Mara returned after a 4 week absence and out distanced Mike Norton for the over-all win. Steve Hamel and Jeff List both cracked the top 5 for their fourth straight week. They finished in a tie for fourth, just ahead of Dan Frye.
Steve Ballentine had a major setback in his Boston Marathon preparations. Somehow he slowed by 3 minutes and aged about 5 years, all in one week. Never-the-less, he isn't worried. After the run, many of the runners flocked to Coffee Obsession for a warm cup of tea.
The Friday Night Five is held every week at 5:30 from Town Hall Square in Falmouth. There is no charge for this self-timed event and all runners are welcome to participate. Reflective running gear of some sort is required for the winter.
