Weekly Wednesday Workouts
You must be a Falmouth Track Club member to do the workouts and then they are free! A waiver the first week of attendance will need to be signed.
Workouts are held at the Falmouth High School track and begin at 5:30 pm, with a fast group starting at 6:00 pm.
A simple training program is used. Each week arrive early and run a warm up. We will meet for strides and one drill. Then the work out will be a one month cycle of: 400, 800 or 1 mile repeats. On the fourth week we can do something different such as hill repeats or fartleks. We will get back together after each set and find an appropriate amount of time to rest before restarting. Then we will do strides and a cool down. People should run as they are able.
